Shirley Both is a German actress based in London. She trained at Regent's University London and was awarded a First Class Honours degree in BA Acting & World Theatre in 2019. After spending half a year in New York at the New School for Drama , she became part of the Arcola Young Company as well as Purple Moon Drama and received special training in the Stanislavski Method from RADA .

Her mentors and teachers include Kwong Loke, Gael Le Cornec, Keith Wallis, Andrea Haring, Robert Goodman, Dominic Kelly, Christa Scott-Reed, Kelly McAndrew, Brigid Panet, Katya Benjamin and Bec Martin-Williams . 

Shirley's work includes fringe theatre productions as well as leading roles in student- and supporting roles in short films. She is part of the migrant theatre-company Cult Arts Theatre and writing and devising her own material.

She is playing the lead role in the feature film My London Lullaby which is currently premiering in Europe.
